Sameee. I may sound backdated but I'm always addicted to plots and chemistry between the main leads rather than smut. Smut scenes are bonus for me. If you are in to kpop, jpop, cpop you will like it for sure. I know that even if you aren't, how their relationship changed will make your heart flutter

I find that consent is sexy too, but I do understand rape kinks. But a rape kink is still different then just straight up romanticizing rape.
The point of yaoi IS the smut, if you want actual stories that's when you go to BL/shounen-ai. Personally I like all of the above depending on my mood. When I am tired but I want to read I look for something that will satisfy that with minimal brain power. Yaoi is my junk food of the reading world. Brain candy every once in a while isn't a bad thing.
I'm really surprised that nowadays people get disappointed if a story doesn't have enough smut scenes. Do y'all really read yaoi for smuts? The story, plot, chemistry between the main leads don't mean a thing to you? No wonder why there are so many garbage manhwa manhuas nowadays which only focus on the "smut" rather than the plot, even romanticizing rape become popular. SMH
