to give you an ELI5 of what an adhominem is, it's when someone says something about you personally or anything physical to counterattack an argument. Is 'pressed' a personal attack for you? I didn't engage in your long ass replies because, let me ELI5 again since you don't have an ounce of an idea what a moot point is, I'm suggesting mangago create a road for people to easily use in their commute, you came in here angrily berating my suggestion with "a road can't be made! it's illegal! and making a road takes too much steps like making cement, buying steel, getting construction workers, it's inconvenient for everyone!" ....if everyone thinks like you do, listing all the processes of creating better things for everyone and not thinking about how hard, impossible and inconvenient it is, then nothing will progress and everyone just ends up with the same old thing that obviously can be improved, had the proper authorities took a step towards making things better and yes, it is inconvenient and arduous as a process, but we're not gonna be inconvenienced forever... it's a temporary step towards paying the proper people their due.

By your own admission, your thought process of suggesting that I'm angry would in return cause me to actually become angry, which I would think that would sufficiently satisfy the definition of being a personal attack on someone lmao... Soo like, what are you confused about then in regards to my acknowledgement of your ad hominem usage?

ANYWAYS. I believe I only explicitly insinuated that you, yourself, might not be the brightest maybe once in a perhaps fallacious manner (although it was mainly used to counter your own fallacies that didn't permit logical arguments). All of my other ad hominem usage are not fallacious as i presented a logical argument alongside them, so they're valid in their usage (albeit maybe not polite, but idc). Not quite sure why you bothered bringing them up other than to make very apparent that you, yourself, don't know much about literary fallacies as much as you're fronting.

Also would like to point out that some of those instances were made based upon evidence you literally relayed to me, like suggesting you couldn't read more than 7 sentences because you literally said as such with your "tldr" response to my 7-sentenced reply to you. and I made it very clear that i was mainly calling the SUGGESTION stupid, and not you, and at no point was that my main counterpoint to your stupid idea. i literally made sure my repetition was associatively linked to the concepts of your idea and it being stupid, established literally to project my opinion of it.

You can be smart and have stupid ideas every once and a while due to sheer ignorance of the topic (which I in fact gave you the benefit of the doubt at the beginning). Typically, one would use critique they receive from that bad idea they had to enlighten and revise it to something suitable, not double down on their ignorance because they don't like admitting that its inherently flawed.

Moving on to your actual nonargument here that you finally decided to reply with...

Suggesting that my rebuttal, which was derived from within the confines of assessing what's realistically possible, is somehow short-sided, all while you're here w/your dumb suggestion that you lack the ability to defend through providence of at least the very basic fundamentals of how to actually accomplish it without financially burdening both mangago and authors', was a very funny segment... ill give you props for that.

blah blah... No where did i say it would personally ruin my own experience if mangago went legal. It is common knowledge, as well as a very-well researched topic that people do not like ads. People find ads intrusive (hence adblocker, etc.), and the amount of ads necessary to provide authors' with any resemblance of a decent revenue stream would extend to the point of being blatantly offensive and users would be more likely to elect their visits/viewership elsewhere, most probably to other sites dealing in piracy. its definitely not rocket science...

Again missing the point: its not how difficult it'd be to do so, its how little incentive there is for an already illegal business to deviate from their already profitable business model to one that represents loss revenue due to profit splitting, loss patronage due to an inferior UX (and in turn less profit), and overall loss benefits for all parties (users, authors, and mangago) involved. in a similar sentiment, suggesting ideas out of your ass without thinking of how they could be plausibly implemented sets us up for failure and, i'd argue, leaves more room for stagnation than assessing possible the flaws before spinning around and proceeding forward with your eyes closed near the edge of a cliff.

...So would this scenario be nice? No. Why? for the reasons I've been mentioning, that all account for the reality of the situation and my understanding of how things work.

Oh look, there's my opinion that i've decided to post in response to yours on this public platform similarly to how yours was. the only difference being that mines backed by logistical reasoning (oops i mean "superior wisdom") and yours exists as a suggestion to the entity you wish to improve in the realms of "what if!" but makes no effort of even reasoning with the obstacles that make your idea not obtainable (hi hello yes im repeating myself yet again).
