thats the point of the series, honestly. shes not a fighter, shes someone who was abused and hurt her entire life. the story is about her getting stronger when she is placed into the hands of someone who will allow her to grow. so yes- shes timid and weak. that mindset doesn't go away quickly. so i expect she will get better, and is growing slowly.
