Yes I kind of agree with that but personally I think it's really cute what she has and I like how the romance is in like suffocating kind of romance but sweet and gentle kind of romance if you get what I'm saying(▰˘◡˘▰)
I get that too!! That's why I like the Nine route she's taking instead of the usual villainess forced into a relationship just bc she showed some villain or ml kindness/human decency. Or forced relationship routes that go only bc the book or game had made it that way

i feel like this could've been completely fine without a romance aspect. like a badass woman beating up a bunch of people and changing the course of fate of some book she read? i would totally be down for that without any romance HAHA
