Those who hate on sunbae don't know what it's like to be gay in a homophobic country. As a gay man myself, seeing your friends avoid you after finding out you're gay really hurts. Overtime, you'll get used to it and start expecting less from people to not hurt yourself. Sunbae is just protecting himself. So far both of their actions are reasonable.
