I don't think Helena is genuinely nice more so she's a coward. If she was kind in general she would have protected Eris and talked to the prince. I don't like her at all since she has the resources to better educate herself on the world but chooses not to. She remains sheltered and dependent on others and that's what pisses me off. The original Eris was a victim and just because she didn't act as if she were a child like Helena she was ostracized.
Eris worked so hard in order to be helpful to those around her only for an annoying child to take her place. I don't understand what they find so attractive by her naivety its actually so off-putting. Her ignorance is so infuriating and she never actually goes out of her way to learn. Eris is well educated and she was extremely kind. Eris put Helena in her place because she was being rude and disrespectful. She was lucky the original Eris didn't punish her the way a lot of other nobles do. On the contrary if Helena didn't have the support of the males around her then she would have been fired and mistreated. So by scolding her appropriately she should learn. But what do we expect I don't think she's as innocent as she seems but whether he behaviour is real or fake I can't stand her.
Eris is a victim like the actual eris. Helenas friendship to her wasnt geniune, they all treared her like an outsider and like a villain even when she worked so hard and she was kind to her servants. People like helena are so despicable especially when all they can do is be nice and naive like i get why the fl dislikes her i would too ngl
