People with common sense do? (for e.x.) If someone committed theft or assault, you don't hear people saying "The offender didn't deserve the backlash". Did you misinterpret my words?
Yes, nice picture you paint. But do these common sense people actually believe their backlash will be of any value? For the victimes? For the offender? For the volk?
There are better methods to deal with a crime/ misbehaviour, then disgracing people. You should know.

You say it will be of value, because you care. So yes, it will be of value for you, but really for anybody else? This will neither help the current market situation nor a person suffering from mental issues nor the uploader. The only thing it does is neglacting someone, to somehow express that you and others care. With 'a backlash can't be well-deserved', I meant that going against a person, to show some sort of altruism is highly contraproductive. This whole issue started with disgracing (author) and now you do the same again. (»Backlash is well-deserved«) What you gonna do if the uploader has mental struggles? While our original intend was neither to »disgrace« anyone by reading manga here, yet we did and yet you did. But I won't pretend a backlash is how I am gonna help him, I simply know I am not in a position to know, what is the best for the author. But I know that taking a break and figuring that out, could be a good, first step. Hope you understand my point now a bit better.
And to specify, I said that I think the author needs therapy. It can be true, it can be wrong, it was not intended to be anything, despite what I would do in his situation. I don't pretend I know, I believe this could be an option. So, please don't confuse that.
