It's not necessarily hate..more like disappointment. At least for me it is.
Spoiler alert btw: Later on, they will get a divorce but it's not called for. Don't get me wrong, I was rooting for it in the beginning but it's like they got divorced when things started working out instead of the opposite which is a weird way for the author to introduce conflict snf heartbreak. Also, they have this weird arrangement over Elle where he spends a year at each parent's place. Very bad seeing as he is in a growing age and would literally forget the other parent every now and then. It just feels weird since her hole reason for being is her kid and this arrangement feels like they just gave up. Again, not against the divorce just how the child is handled and the circumstances of the divorce itself. The MC and ML aren't hateful at all they are just disappointingly weak and susceptible to creating misunderstandings and seeing as this is their second life which is supposed to be better (they both remember the older life), the second chance feels wasted on them. I expect a lot better from a reincarnation /time travel plot
I did not say they are weak because of the misunderstandings. They are weak, in my opinion, because they gave up on so many things. The ML is weak because he in indecisive and he never told her that her father was fucking up her life and that was one of the main reasons they got a divorce. I find indecisiveness and cowardly behavior to be weakness. You might disagree with that. I find a lot of similar instances throughout the story.
Also thr abundance of misunderstandings and lack of communication is a plot weakness. I've rea down many stories in this genre with 0 misunderstandings and they work. Misunderstandings are part of life but they can be a minor part and not drive the entire plot. Also, this is their second life and they both remember everything that went wrong so if this plot on theit second life is still driven by misunderstandings then that's very poor writing . That's how I see it
Honestly guys after hearing this I feel like dropping it I mean if there's a thing I hate most in story is lack of communication and not being strong enough to put out statements and opinions the ways u see them so that ppl can answer correctly or like having a second life and just waist it u wanted ur baby then stay with ur baby goddum(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I'm so sad but thanks for the spoiler
I feel like what’s going to happen and what happened ( the divorce, 1 year at each parents house and the reincarnation) is just for the plot. I feel like it would be a waste to read this after reading what will happen. The author probably didn’t have any ‘unique’ ideas for the plot so they just made them have a divorce and a huge misunderstanding.. like.. okay what will happen after they get a divorce and complicate things, like what will happen then ? I literally can’t come up with anything
I've read stories with zero misunderstandings too and (there's a reason why I don't read them much anymore. That's because) most of the time the relationships between the main couple were fragile (read: weak). Their relationship itself never actually struggled or experienced hardship. So it felt like it would never last through a major shakeup (as all relationships eventually have), because they wouldn't have the know how to handle the emotional suffering they would be given. If they did in spite of that, that would just be unbelievably ridiculous (a second reason why I don't read those kinds of stories anymore). And they definitely always felt like the author was just forcing them together.
As for this story specifically, if the misunderstandings didn't continue just because they have a second life I would drop this story in a heartbeat because that would just make this story that much more unrealistic beyond the fantasy setting, given that their second life came about because of a still existing misunderstanding from their past life.
I don’t see why after reading the spoilers ppl hate the fl. I don’t hate the ml or fl
