Yes, I agree. I see that people find him/his reaction annoying, which is ok, they have right to their opinions, but to me his reaction is complitely understandable. Both characters have their flaws and whats actually great is that they both called each other out on them in this chapter.

Most people are annoyed with the uke but do people understand how humiliating it is for him because he was lied to and seme ended up doing better? Sure, it's not the seme's fault that he got distracted, it's the uke's but romantic relationships do have an effect on your studies and everyone copes differently. Why is his pride such a bad thing? If someone told me they'd give me their scholarship when it's not earned through my own efforts, it would hurt my pride too. Also, if someone asked me to tutor them and they turned out to be a better student, it would've hurt my pride too. I think uke did overreact a little bit but in my opinion, he was right to be angry.
