I don't remember in terms of chapter numbers in the raws, but from where we are in the plot, I'd say wait a while longer. I should've waited like you did but I have impulse control issues haha.
It gets happy :) but that part isn't translated yet, it is very happy in the raws, however. But the raws are still ongoing, so idk what the official ending will be, but right now it's safe to say that you will definitely be pleased with what happens after all this shit get sorted out.

I am still waiting for the people in the comments section to tell me if its ok to start reading this manga again....I stopped at like 28 or some chapter where they finally kissed I stopped cause I want to get through all the depressing stuff and get straight to the happy ending....I WILL NOT READ THIS ANYMORE UNLESS THERE IS A HAPPY ENDING I REFUSE!!!
