It doesn't excuse the fact that the ml give the baby to the mistress and separated them, it doesn't excuse the fact that the FL has been mistreated stop defending the ml,we can hate someone and still read stop saying we can't lmao clearly the ml is the one mostly at fault here. Character development or not the FL suffered
true to that @Fudanshi. Its her opinion and its our opinion that ml has a shitty behavior. He couldve just comfort the mc. The mc father just threatened him and didnt say to not to speak or love my daughter or something. He could have done so much more for the fact that he is a duke.

This both sides argument is the one that's overdone. These shortcomings that people believe the FMC has, after all, ALWAYS appear to refer to her being 'weak' and 'not strong'. That is NOT on the same level as the ML treating someone innocent like sh!t. Not even CLOSE. Like I said to another poster stop asking us to discard my friend (i.e. a book) just because I don't like everything about it. Kinda funny don't you think though that the ones using the both sides argument are also the ones who happen to have issues with people who have no problem reading a story where they read about BOTH SIDES of characters, the ones who are trash and the ones who are not?
I see both sides of the characters and Im still gonna continue reading it. And what if this is the aim of the author for us to hate this mc or ml. Or even defend one of them. If this his/her aim, well the author is doing a great job at it
Like come on. Im not defending the ml- i don't even like him . But can't you see both have short commings. The part of the past that was shown ( currently) is the MC's past so basically we don't understand what really happened back then since the MC's experience was one sidedly shown and she was sick at that time-mentally.
You all could blame the ml the hell i care. But you all are not open minded of the possiblity that BOTH the ml and Mc have shortcommings.
So i think, if you hate that the Mc will end up with the ml then DON'T READ. and if you're already annoyed why almost all the webtoons story endings are like this. THEN DON'T READ.
And you know what. I think this is good lije other good timetravek shojou- since i see Character developments. Not like those stories when i don't see any characters developement
