Hm, I'm guessing that since the knights are property of the whole family then everyone can do what they please with them. Since ML is just for MC, then that's why he only stays with her. But if someone were to order ML, he would have to do that.
But wouldn't he have to listen to an order given by the royals so if he is ordered to only listen to MC wouldn't he have to follow that order? Or is it that the most recent order takes precedence?
Then situations like what just happened can be avoided right (because ML wouldn't be able to disobey)?
