Might be a cultural thing. Japanese are very team oriented
Well think about it from the perspective of the co workers. It'll be hard to be around someone who's perfect because the pressure to be perfect as well. You think they be judging you every time you make a mistakes and your ideas never as good as them. It's just hard.
I cannnnt. Imagine being so good at your job that it sets you apart from your coworkers and you have to tell yourself to not forget to make a typo every now and then
