Why are porn manhwas/mangas so cliche?

I hate when authors go out of their way to make the boyfriend of SooHyun an absolute prick asshole and make Woong the desirable one only because of his big dick. Its kinda annoying and I'd wish that manhwa authors would add more depth to their characters despite the genre being as cliche as it is.
