nah, I wouldn't say they didn't like each other...
For me they had a very sibling-like relationship so I'm fine with them not interacting with each other. I wouldn't have anything against it in particular, but they are so close, I can't imagine them also falling in love.
I understand that the cat and dog both liked the master but I kept waiting for them to at least kiss (〜￣△￣)〜 something about them not liking each other ruined the whole dynamic for me lol
