BRUHHH yahwi literally raped jooin so many times. I almos dropped this manga completely the first time they had sex, because jooin was completely out of it and couldnt consent. He didnt even tell jooin. From that interaction alone he was a rapist already, but lets not forget how he treated jooin many times prior during sex or just in general. I feel like there is an obvious difference between potn and this story.
Potn is a toxic love story and it involves the 2 main characters.
The whole thing is toxic and they both know it.
Here it's a love triangle.
The main character has the option to choosing one of the two that he's interested in.
Either choose the toxic one or the non toxic one.
It's annoying when the main character always chooses the main male lead who usually is toxic. In love triangles the main character is given the choice and that's what makes a big difference.
In potn Namkyum could choose a diff route but we've already seen how that turns out.
And just because Seungho is changing doesn't change the fact that he still raped Namkyum. Nothing will ever change that.
Same way nothing will change the fact that Yawhi raped Jooin.
Character development does count but personally past actions always play a part in a relationship. In this situation Jooin has the ability to grow and realize he doesn't deserve to be treated badly or controlled.
In potn Seungho is someone Namkym needs because he provides for in. And he's in a situation where leaving can cause in consequences.
Changing or character development should realistically take time.
I don't think I'll ever forgive Yawhi for doing that to Jooin.
