yeah he was mean in the beginning of the novel but for me i've gradually became fond of him bc he started being nice meanwhile the male lead has some tragic background story and was said in the novel to have problems or smth which didn't rly make me feel anything
at the end of the day, people have their taste in men.. some ppl like assertive ppl and some like ppl who r mean/teases them .. so it might not make sense to u since those types arent rly ur types lol
