Well it comes down to if he is comfortable changing because as humans we all adapt to our relationships and being accommodating as we change is how we get healthy relationships. The difference is just that it becomes toxic when it’s expected of you to change, forced on you, or you’re pressuring yourself to change.
So let him explore ah, he’ll see if he’s comfortable or not with a change. There’s nothing bad about that.

Well MC who was at first totally against cross dressing himself and wanted to find a really masculine boyfriend ended up adapting to the ML’s style and even tried crossdressing himself when ML requested it.
MC didn’t ask him to change, he just asked him if he could maybe try it out too (instead of cross dressing though it’s uncrossdressing) and ML was also fine trying it out.
We can’t really forget that MC is gay, so it’s not that surprising that he finds masculine traits more attractive than feminine traits. I was actually impressed with how open he gradually taught himself to be as well as how he had warned ML that his wish could be potentially hurtful if it felt like he was attacking his identity. Aka, he acknowledges this part of ML and that’s what we’ve watched him learn to do since the beginning of the comic.
Sigh. Baby don't change for Hwa. Cross dressing is apart of who you are. I accept it. I accept you mannnn. Tch
