not making sense

personally i dont really think soleia deseverd what happened when she was young, after all she was born into a household that already practiced black magic, and she grew up loving the people that also practiced it, her family, friends, schoolmates, teachers etc. and to expect her to not learn black magic when surrounded by such a community does not really make sense to me. so when all the people she loved was killed overnight, wouldn't you normally want revenge? and if the way to Get that revene is to countinue practicing black magic, wouldn't you do so too? to us, outsiders black magicians are clearly not good people, but for her they were people she loved and cherished.
what happened to her when she was young was, quite obviously, unfair from her point of view and losing so much in such a short period of time would not really make anyone any kinder. to me, the fact that she is willing to grovel at the person she hates the mosts feet, just to get revenge for the people she loved and lost, i think is quite admirable. although i cannot agree with the way she does things, i just wish she can be able to move on and live happily
