The duke, she's to old for him, she already experienced a lot so that changed her but the duke isn't at fault.
Well, while she is the reincarnation of Martina (300+ y/o IF she was alive, which she isn't) she is NOT Martina. In this next life she is Astina who still has her memory as Martina.
She's 19, the duke's 26, not that much age difference so I wouldn't say she's too old. She's younger even though she seemed more experienced.
That's what I mean with old, she has memory's of her past life, that means that mentally she is still continuïn to live as martina, she can't ignore what she already learned and experienced.
i mean if you put it like that no one is old enough to be with her :)) except some ancient monk somewhere probably but you get what i mean. people grow at different rates mentally. if they're both consenting adults there's no reason to assume there isn't a chance for them
But she is so closed up that she doesn't want to give second chances, the duke can't approach her emotionally because she was betrayed by the previous king that resemblance the duke, that bothers me, if she can't see that they are to different individuals then bye bye. (I know the story is like this and in the end is gonna end well but it's irritating).

You know that their currently plan is to break the curse so she can leave, right? If Astina goes back home without breaking the curse, Theo'll be stuck as a beast the rest of his life and probably people'll take advantage to steal from him again.
Yes, I just don't like the way she is treating him, she's hostile with him while he's only been kind.
