As I read through the spoilers in the comment. I kinda understand now why the title is like that. Ellen's wish is for someone to accept her. But in the end if she really had to betray Caidel just so they (the earl and her) can find eternal rest then that's that. The earl is no different from Noah either, both of them uses people for their own gains.(noah using ellen for a way to sleep and for his own personal entertainment and the earl using Caidel to search for ellen) If the ending would be them reuniting after they erase Caidel's memory it will leave a rather bitter taste. Caidel deserves better than this!
Idk if I would still continue to read this （￣へ￣） I am happy with the last chapters so I don't want to let it get ruined when I get to the point of the spoils. If I do get to pick this up again I might have to wait for the ending and pick through the ending itself if it is satisfactory...
