actually there's 'obsessive love' on the tag of the novel so you should expect that someone from the characters are 'clingly'. If you look at reality, mc is still young that why he still not totally mature like ml (which ml already told that young ppls more emotional toward love)
True, though the obsessive love trope is used differently here. Usually it’s someone with yandere tendencies or someone who’s almost like a push over. I mean I get where’s OP’s coming from cuz there’s a difference between wanting to be with someone so obsessive adn will chase you to the end of the earth (even if you reject them) and just not thinking about the fact the your crush might just not like you.
Okay first off I really like this story and the effort put into it- very good. Now that that’s out of the way... rant incoming... spoilers below
I’m seriously getting a strong dislike for the Mc, he is so weak minded at times that it makes me want to whack him. “If it wasn’t his marriage that kept us apart, then why didn’t he accept me?” (Paraphrased words) Maybe because he doesn’t like you like that? I know that in the story ml does probably like him but still, mc acting surprised about the fact that ml just doesn’t like him makes me want to whack him more.
He’s like a darn leech or irritating mosquito that keeps on coming back after you swat it away. After a couple of times I’d just kill it. Can you look any more desperate? Where’s your pride and self-respect?
All of his other character aspects are good and likeable, but because of his constant “obsession over ml” tendencies, it makes all those good points seemingly disappear with only obsession of ml left.
