I know Art did a bad thing, but, tbh, the kid's dream of his conversation with Art made me bawl like a baby. Indeed , he stole Sam and kid from Reed but It's because he loved Sam so much, and later her kid. He even sacrificed his baseball scholarship in college and worked as a carpenter to support his "family."

I'm just wondering why he and Sam didn't have any other child in the 6 years they were together. And how exactly did he die? Car accident ? Illness ?

This is a wonderful story, a very rare Harlequin story where all the characters ( except Sam's parents ) are wonderful.
