Sian is an actual good person.
I’m sorry, but for you to say that “he doesn’t seem like an actual good guy” even if you have read the spoilers, confuses me. Because he’s a good person.
Also, from her perspective, he doesn’t think he’s absolute piece of garbage or filth. She just wants to avoid him, but she knows that Sian isn’t bad. But Ren, on the other hand, she regards as absolute garbage and complete filth. She’s always regarding to him as “a son of a bitch,” and she doesn’t have any good feelings towards him in general.
But obviously this changes, Elena becomes comfy with both Sian and Ren, and learns to trust them.

But I'm not reading the novel? and we're getting the story from her perspective and from her perspective he's a piece of garbage absolute filth and even as we're meeting him right now I'm uncomfortable with him he's awkward, overly protective for a stranger, and has barely any light to his eyes at all. And even reading the spoilers it didn't make him seem all that good at all and I've read multiple spoilers from multiple different people with different perspectives on the spoilers and he does not seem like an actual good guy like yeah he's okay but he doesn't seem all that bright honestly
