He probably wants her to take all the attention and be like her shadow and help her so that she won't be defeated easily making people only see her and not him so that he can stay alive unlike his last life where he died because people feared him for being too strong
I understand Nobles feel entitled, but seeing her, an entitled commoner, is equally annoying.It's great that shes capable, but to insult others efforts as She looks down on others like trash is just the worst.
