it depends on your own maturity. if you can differentiate reality from fiction, not fetishize etc then there's no problem with in in my opinion. sex isn't just for adults, and tbh a lot of these mangas have a great portrayal of healthy relationship, how you should properly have sex with lube, condom etc and yea. it helped me figure out my sexual orientation so..

I want to say no out of "moral obligation" but my 11 yr old a$$ self was literally drawing and watching porn...so it's the latter.

Tho I cannot really agree of allowing them but if they find it and it's already reached their eyes, ears, hands etc. then it's a "you do you" situation for me.

I think we need to stop pretending sex isn’t talked about, thought about, or dreamed about. I don’t think it should be a taboo subject. As an artist, I do think that there is a line between porn and art. It may be thin at times, but there is a line. So I would personally like to have an open discussion about sex with my teen and have some set boundaries on reading and art. Sex is a good thing, but you need boundaries with it. So if there are good and clear boundaries, sure. I wouldn’t want my teens to read some of the smut I read though. ....I’m sounding so hypocritical right now lol

It depends on how mature the person in question is.
I'll say that it's not exactly wrong to allow teens to draw nsfw contents and read them, coz it's most likely the curiosity to learn about uh yk, how they do it, and stuff due to the hormones .
But, if the person is not mature enough and wants to experience stuffs like pregnancy irl before turning 18 , then it should not be promoted.

1+2 : Wait, if that's drawing human anatomy for learning purposes and improving skills than yes, cause as an art student we had to face it at earliest 17, but in terms of NSFW, as a mangaka, I think is better to face it anyway at any age, but not earlier than sex education itself. Cause it can be a shock if not because of curiosity
