I reeeeaally didnt like Wataru. I't's one thing to suppress the urges when the target of his affections was a middleschooler. But then he invites him to live with him, and clearly has plans to end up with him some day. He knows about the others feeling, and yet he keeps being rejecting towards him.

Unwilling to let him give up, and still keeping a distance from him. He was knowingly keeping him in Limbo, and he had no care for all the years he made him suffer that loneliness. He doesn't even apologize for it! He even let the uke think he was dating that Nao guy.

What's worse, we see that the way he keeps rejecting him is clearly damaging the younger guys self-image. "I know i'm not cute" how many times has he said that now? The uke seemed nothing short of depressed! The way he described his own suffering, the way he clearly didn't like himself, the way every day was a long battle. He said that himself!

The way the same treated him wasn't mature or responsible. The mature or responsible thing to do would be to either cut contact completely so the uke can GET OVER HIM. Or to let the uke know that he is loved, that he is good enough and that he doesn't have to be in pain anymore. Just... make up his mind!
