well, he basically didn’t cheat but he did, since he didn’t know if yoon was alive or not, and it has been 5 years since he’d seen yoon, and if I was in that situation, I would think my lover was dead, although, I wouldn’t treat my lover like what the ex did. But, what the ex did when he came back was unnecessary and inexcusable. He didn’t even think to consider his feelings and just moved on, when clearly yoon wasn’t in his best state then.

I got the spoiler from someone else saying they read the novel. But isn’t it obvious the way he looks and acts around yoon and the way he talks about yoon to either his friend or yoon’s ex.
