she's not trying to be nice to anyone after all, she did save the FL's big brother so that she can avoid her death flag. It's not like she was trying to save him because she was trying to change. Besides, those civilians that jeremy killed were the ones at fault in the first place, it's pretty indecent and rude to take a peek at a noble lady's (especially an agriche) room without permission, whatever their reason is.

U know in this kind of scenarios u could only think of ur survival if u want to survive or the other people u cared about u need to adapt like to become a villain or even innocent just to not get attention or to gain favor so that u wouldn't die or the people u care.

Yeah I’ve thought that too and especially how she came from the modern world that has a lot of morals.
However I thought more (LOL) and technically she’s spent a loooot of time as an Agriche (and more focused on power and survival) , so she’s more Agriche than whoever she was in her past life rn. Basically she’s more villain than 21st century girl
To answer this, she was born into the family thus experiencing everything the original body did the story she read. So she grew up around death and knowing the original story. Her younger brother was killed in front of her ( or like in a manner where she noticed ) because he was weak. Her mother is mentally unfit for the family and is weak in comparison to the other wives. She had to be strong enough to survive long enough to crush the flags that will trigger her own death. And a few sacrifices for the greater good is needed.
True, u know sometimes when there's no chap that says about her traveling through time or reincarnated or remembering past life i'd always feel like she is just born from this world no past life memories no novel thingy like she is just from that world no nothing.
Its seems the author/artist doesnt think something in the past is necessesary. Whether Roxie follow the plot or not, so why not just let the action tell the plot.
And i thought as someone who came from modern world its understable she can act as evil she is and manipulate the story and character (since she know the character and the plot). For the sake to save herself, who born in that kind of family (lack of moral), i wonder deep down she is so frustrated and depressed. I expectan she's broke her emotion when the ML save her.
And she is not always killing, so far not, like killing is the boys taks. Remember she is a display holy grail, her father can't lost her to early. She can't act to her common morale, cuz she is an Agriche, if not she can't survive.
I mean acting like an Agriche is her way to vent her emotion.
I mean she didn't want to kill anyone or is evil, but she lives with crazy murders that want this and expect her to do this. with time she seems to get used to murder, don't you think? since her father murder people all the time like it some sort of game. and she said it in the start, the reason she saves the blue hair guy is to save his own self, that her reason. overall I think she hates all the crazy family other than Jeremy cause he really did care for her and does not want her to die, even if he is a crazy motherfucker killer.
I actually think she very human and very real for someone that come from another world and have to suffer those crazy assholes
