a being so desperate to escape abyss would not just put his existence within her fragile life.

I do see the downside cause the king could be like "oh do what I say or I will kill her and send you back" but then they would have a god to do their wishes which would mean that he would have to sacrifice his favorite daughter or just live with the consequences.
I'm not resting easy with the way the god revealed that her death would send him back to sleep, so carelessly in front of the others... Can he protect her at all times if the emperor or anyone else ever decides to try and get rid of him for real?
