The father has his reason for being like that, believe me he didnt know about the past timeline and he actually really cares about his daughter so much
True he is just poorly written in general.
I hate him so much and from my point of view, despite all of the reasons that he had, he as an adult could manage things way better than in the first timeline. I hate that he started treat his daughter better in timeline after her suicide... Like why he couldn’t treat her like this before, minimum not ignore her questions and sometimes support conversations. But in the 2nd life like out of nowhere he starts answer her questions and have lunch together???? Yeah, I didn’t read it fully, bc I don’t like it how plot will justify his actions, I’ve already read many spoilers. But still, you are fucking asshole as a dad, incompetent and just a jerk! I really hate when parents mistreat their children. Come on, they are children, they deserve love
