I totally get that but I don't think our mc knew it was something traumatic for Angela. She only knew that she hated pink "for some reason." I think it said that in one of the earlier chapters.

hatred is different from trauma
im sure that this is the first time our MC figures out its a traumatic thing for angela
although idk what she’ll do with that info later on
