The plot is definitely something I don’t come across often, but the characters and the way everything is portrayed, simultaneously gives me this iffy feeling (especially the last chapter) and sort of leaves me with a bittersweet taste in the end. I think it’s a good read, but it also gave me a somewhat prickly feeling in the back of my neck throughtout the story.
