Him taking drugs, killing, blackmailing, beating people to pulp, sleeping around (which isn't wrong at all if he isn't in relationship) or cheating is IN CHARACTER and an example of GOOD, BELIEVABLE writing. Not some romanticised, naive fairly tale about bad gangster who was only sweet and loving in his love life.
