They both love each other, but her desire to return to earth and her family is stronger. The way to go back is to be killed by someone else. I read that she requested him to end her life but I saw some others saying it was an execution instead so I'm not 100% sure about that. Though basically the jist is that he understood her and respected her wishes. Meanwhile the other 3 clowns realised she was a different person (not og eris), fell for her, and wanted to stop her from dying. He helps fend them off and she succeeds.

So he is the ML but there is no end-game romantic interest - she doesn't end up with anyone, instead she fulfills her wish of returning to earth.

That just broke my heart I'm just starting to love him ☹ it's so sad for him . I'm getting bored with those flashy male leads that I'm starting to love those mob characters . But i guess our bb got her wish to go back .

Lol they "fell for her"... Idk man, they're so fickle??? I think probably, most of it will have to do with guilt and then think of how pitiful MC must have felt... I don't trust their scum selves.
