her family was destroyed and now she's a maid that anyone can crash. She acts submissive for her safety and when refusing she can't be anything but polite, something which the shitty guys that stick to her don't get. She gives hints of refusal on her own way since she'd put her own life at risk otherwise. She's just kind, weak and pitiful. She'll never be able to freely express her opinion like Iris. You'll get what i mean in the next chapters, while the whole story gets revealed. She's anything but hateful. The guys on the other hand... are pretty selfish and shitty.
Ooh understandable. But for some reason I can't come to like her at all. This sounds bad but I don't like kind/naive people (personal issue of mine maybe lol.)

the reason you can't like her is because in the first chapters she is purposely portrayed as an annoying hypocrite when in fact she's not. I felt the same before reading some of the novel. You'll change your entire view soon
i hate how in most of these manwas the main character of that story the mc got stuck in almost always are beautifully innocent, that you can tell that they easily say things that are stroking the mans ego like calling him handsome. Its too petty how these men fall in love with a girl whos only charm is to be beautiful and basically suck up to men who will protect her. She is always ignorant of the surroundings and act sorry later if anything happens cause the stereotypical perfect girl is compassionate. The way this "perfect girl" was pleading to our mc to forgive her way after the prince slapped her is just a part of her duty she thinks she has.
How do any of our mcs not slap these perfect girls just to make them feel an ounce of what their oblivious actions causes to other people who just act human and are labelled villainess.
Anyway great story, makes it feel real with her emotions
yeah, onky in this case Helena doesn't suck up to them. She genuinely tries to avoid them. It will soon be revealed.
