Specifically for this story, maybe the reason the fl can't handle the pushy mls, like ren and the prince is bcuz their characters are not following the pattern she predicted and thus she is not prepared and doesn't no what's the right action to take.
How is it that no matter how capable MCs are in these stories they are always helpless when dealing with the persistent Male leads? Like they have one million strategies for everyone but a 1st or 2nd ML appears and it’s like “oh no what can I do?”
Someone please hire Melissa to teach a class for these FLs.
