doujinshi means that it’s a fan-created work based on the characters of another manga.
Doujinshi is basically a fan made that comes from another manga or anime
it's like self- published works, the doujinshi's author usually took the characters from existing anime/manga
A DJ (doujinshi) is usually just a non-official publishing of a manga work, that usually utilizes characters and storylines from other official manga. However this DJ has the SAME mangaka as the original manga (which is unusual but it happens) and is officially published. You can view it more as side stories of the characters
