i recall earlier in the story somewhere that the duke of casablanca swore his loyalty to the empress. I think he was in love with her and so bc of his loyalty, the emperor took advantage of it.

Im in the middle of reading and I just have to stop and ask. Hahaha.
Why the hell is Duke Casablanca like that!? It was mentioned by the emperor that the duke will not harm the prince because of some old sentiments the duke has with the empress. Was he inlove with the previous empress or was he her super loyal knight? Also Im getting a feeling that the emperor is the one who ordered the murder of the real Ansia and the duchess. Maybe the duke killed them because the emperor said so? Maybe it was Rys who was supposed to die not Ansia? Maybe Ansia or the duchess disguised him as Ansia so he'll be saved? I need to know why the duke's like that. Please!!
