Well actually I like seeing Wachi all pathetic and sad. What I like is that they are both bringing out emotions from each other that I'm sure they never thought they would feel. Makio getting mad and also being protective is new to him. I don't feel sorry for Wachi but I do want him to be happy in the end.
Honestly, while I like cunning Makio, I want to see him being more flustered and unbalanced about Wachi. And why do I feel like the mangaka is making Wachi into such a pitiable guy. Sure he deserves it for playing around with girls in the past but man, idk I just feel sad for him now. He's been beaten up, betrayed, and even his lover doesn't come back home. That's honestly pretty sad.
