Actually kirin knew that kangmoo loves him and he always knew that kangmoo would never kill him. The author make it clear that both of them truly love each other but in their own ways. Thats why kirin never leave kangmoo. Their love is equal
Ahhhh so that's it. Kirin knew Kangmoo will not gonna do that to him. What a love. I was wondering when I read the raws why Kirin never left and never felt angry when Kangmoo did this to him twice already.
