Just a side note. Just because you don’t notice someone is no letting your child, doesn’t mean you’ve failed as a parents. Padeophiles know that their behaviour is wrong so they do everything in their power to keep it hidden. She failed for other reasons, but she didn’t fail for not noticing her child was being molested. When he said "I used to have this older neighbor" I was like Oh God I hope it’s not what I think it is, then I saw the neighbor and I was like "ha he probably just had a crush on him or something, Thank God it’s not what I thought it was" AND THEN ITS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS. what’s even worse is that it’s perfectly normal for young children to be curious about their bodies and what makes them feel good. Like almost all children touch themselves and they think it’s something bad because the adults in their life are too uncomfortable to teach them what to actually do or what they’re feeling.
