It seems like some of the players were saying that bc the pitcher (seme) had messed up earlier in the game and allowed the other team to score, the uke felt the need to run recklessly enough to sustain an injury as serious as breaking his knee in order to get to base and take the lead again to win the game.

Yeah it doesn’t logically, but it seemed like his teammates didn’t put any effort into trying to see past the fact that he was a celebrity’s child and judged him indiscriminately without trying to get to know him and sympathize with him. They were threatened by his talent and badmouthed him bc of it. So basically petty high school jealousy that they haven’t grown out of in over 10 years :/
ok honestly i think they make it sound a lot more confusing in the story but both MC's were on the baseball team. uke had an accident and doesnt play anymore. they meet years later and uke is struggling while seme seems to be doign ok. hate each other at first
(idk why for this part) but now have s*x because of the seme's "tradition". the only part i dont get is why people are blaming the seme for the knee injury the uke got. maybe i just dont know enough about baseball LOL
