no one is saying yeonwoo is a sweet cinnamon roll who could do nothing wrong, you can get off your moral high horse. yeonwoo is definitely a fucking creep, kissing someone while they're unconscious is a predatory behaviour. yeonwoo is in the wrong for that, make no mistake. however, taehwan is also a vey sadistic piece of shit who doesn't know what boundaries mean. two wrongs don't make a right, you know? both of them are terrible people.

That's literally what I'm saying and i don't remember praising taehwan or making him seem better than yeonwu it just bothered me how people keep praising one of them as if they both aren't bad people... I still like the story tho it's pretty interesting

I think the reason I personally am more lenient in Yeonwu's case is that I think it shows how bad repressing your sexuality can really affect a person and skew their inhibition and judgment, not that it was right, but I get how desperation for affection can make someone act a stupid fool. As for Taehwan, I dunno man, whatever trauma he might have gone through, it's not going to cut it in excusing his coercive ass.
