i mean jaehong isn't gay, as far as he knows. so he thought they were in the same boat, experiencing the same thing. i think that's the only reason he's surprised
I suppose that could be the case but it seems like maybe he’d at least be like “oh that makes sense” rather than in utter shock that he’s gay but Idunno. People view things differently I suppose
