No the Father Died I think bc of too much influence. But the uncle is I think a police.
Another spoiler-ishh thing which was also Hinted or Flashback-ed in the previous chapters were the time when Soo Young's uncle went to see him to inform him that he be going for a while because of work. After that months passed and his uncle came back dead
. I think his uncle's work involved investigating the korean Mafia and that time during his "work" soo young's uncle was caught up in the power struggle where Taesung is involved. He died and Tae sung knows that bc he was there when it happened.
Now notice that everytime Soo young mentions his uncle in front of soo young, Tae Sung Flinches and Darkens. It's coz he's afraid Soo young will find out that his beloved uncle died in Tae Sung's watch.
Another theory that's foreboding in the latest chapter. Remember that one of the big mafia leader that was kicked out to china during the previous gang war (where soo young's uncle is involved) came back to Korea bc of the Gang Power Balance tipping more to Tae Sung's side after he killed Kang-il? the one who stabbed Soo-young.
They mentioned that another gang war will be happening soon. And since Soo Young is Now Tae-Sung's "WEAKNESS" it is obvious Soo young's gonna get involved in it. Possibly a chance or an opportunity where he'll learn that he'd be going through the same situation where his uncle died in.
Since that Mafia Leader that came back from China knows Soo Young's uncle (saw him in the flashback in the prev chaps) coz he's also there during the power struggle maybe he'll be the one spilling the beans Tae Sung is trying so hard preventing.

So for those of you who missed it and thinks that Tae Sung is sus well he def is. He be feeling guilty and scared that Soo Young is gonna find out that the reason his uncle was killed was bc of a power struggle/war of the gangs which involved Tae Sung. That time he was there and if I'm remembering it right there's a fight and Soo Young's uncle is a police?? and he got in between then he got killed. Tae Sung is feeling guilty over that and moreover when he found out that Soo Young is the nephew/kid that uncle is taking care of. So now it feels hard to say that he isn't hiding anything to soo young coz he def is. lol but who the hell won't you ain't even sure Soo young's gonna look at him the same wat when he finds out. So imagine his anxiety bruh. Tae Sung you need therapy. lol (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
