I can understand that your wife's passing is such a great deal and a heartbreak. As someone who doesn't really want a child right now, even I can understand that a child that I sacrificed my life for should be taken care well. Your wife died to give that child a life, and you abandoning that child almost became an insult to the mother. It's like she sacrificed her life for nothing. Bruh #－.－)
