idk where people got that the ml abused her he never did anything like that he just took elle away from her cause she was mentally ill which could’ve put the child in a bad situation
Um I think it was the part where he left for war and accidentally neglected her, from her view it looked like the ml was the bad guy since he took her child form her? Although since she was unstable she took little things that piled up and became one big thing
yup since she was mentally unstable her ability to process everything wasn’t all the way there and it ended up looking like abuse and much more brutal i just don’t recall him hitting or verbally abusing her in any way just taking the child and her begging to keep him there thats why when i saw people say abuse i was confused and if they haven’t read spoilers it would well definitely seem like he was purposefully ignoring her or just didn’t like her period but i digress as i said they just got caught in a bad situation with the father not much that could change that but at least they get to do it over idk if ml still remembers everything tho
I understand what you are saying but neglect is also a form of abuse. It would be soooooo cool if he did remember AND it would be fun to see what he might do differently
i didnt mean that as neglect isnt a form of abuse at allll ofc it is sorry if i worded that incorrectly i said purposely ignored her which i meant as purposely neglected and him going out his way to be abusive to her which could be interpreted as me saying neglect isnt abuse also wasn’t trying to say any abuse is worse than the other they’re all equally bad its just the way people were describing him abusing her it seemed like they were talking about verbally/physically more than neglect that was my mistake but yes it would definitely be interesting to see what he would do and if he would be able to avoid being sent off to war

ok so i found this spoiler and i just genuinely feel bad for both the ml and fl its really a situation thing and her fathers just a dickhead so anyways here
From the spoiler I read,
Reina's Father hated her because of what happened to her mother and brother.
She can't get divorced with his husband because if she does Elle wouldn't be the heir to the house.
When Reina was pregnant her husband had a mission and had to be away from her.
Reina's Father threatened her husband that if he fails he will kill Reina and the unborn child.
Edhart took away Elle from Reina at the mean time because she was unstable. However, he wanted to give him back as soon as possible.
Then he went to war afterwards.
Reina's Father brought Edhart's ex-fiancee to their household as a maid but because Edhart knows his ex's intention he didn't want her to be close to Reina.
When he went to war he asked the servants to take good care of the Duchess but when he came back Elle was already close to his ex rather than her own mother.
When he went to visit Reina with a doctor it was already too late for her.
Then he met Reina's father at her funeral and asked him if it was great that the cursed one was gone now.
Edhart was the one who reversed the time.
He wasn't the bad one.
