[IF] since her mom took the kids away on the trip [i think to her grandpa's house; bet there were some conflict b/w her mom and dad]. and the dad hates FL even more since she look similar/exactly like her mom. so basically he's venting his anger/neglect/evil side to FL self and at the same time to the late-mother [due FL looking like her momma] as means to appease himself. i bet.
I believe it was the daughter that’s asked to go visit the grandpa which is why they went and the father blames her cuz of it which is dumb
what if the ride with her mom and brother [before the accident] was to get away from her evil dad in disguise of a vacation or trip. and somehow the dad found out and snap [maybe purposely] flip the carriage/cause damage to carriage [idk how] to injure/hurt/kill them 3. bet the father just use 'curse' to her as a way to use her as a scapegoat from distracting ppl away from the incident/cause of the incident.
idk but this just me overthinking.
