i think personally its fine. its great representation, and i've seen a lot of great people do head canons, art, etc on them like @sakusasleftfoot on tiktok, whos trans themselves. they do a lot of super good head canons on characters and the ships so yea. the gender dysphoria, etc, is what every trans person goes through, period. showing that off and normalizing it, i think is great to not make people feel alone etc. it wasn't romanticizing anything, it was simply showing how they would be like if they were trans.
Haha woah so kinda a wtf moment I personally think the twitter thread of the ratings were pretty roode and it feels like theyre pointing out things they'd be insecure about idk how to explain it
Kinda disrespectful to the trans community openly stereotyping them and picking these stereotypes onto characters people like(sorry if this is confusing im just shocked)
If this helps any Im pansexual and nonbinary if stereotypes like this were pushed onto my sexuality or gender identity id be pretty upset ( ̄へ ̄)
no one forcing them though, its representation that happens in many forms. we know they're not gay, lesbian, trans etc, but the thing we put out are a "what if" they were. these head canons are the same as fan fic, ships, fanon etc, except there's actual good portrayal of us. another thing you wrote was fantasizing them as trans, it isn't a fantasy, more like a parallel universe of what would happen if___
I saw something on twitter and would like to know some of you opinions. it was about someone reimaging how haikyuu characters if they were trans and it feeds into a lot of stereotypes about trans people and how they act, also it fantasying them having gender dysmorphia .
I would like to know how people from the community think of it because i'm not apart of the lgbt community.
